Daniel Myles

Provisional Psychologist

Daniel is an AHPRA registered provisional psychologist currently completing his final year of his Master of Clinical Psychology degree. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Newcastle. He has experience working with adolescents with ADHD and adults with Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Assertiveness and Sleep problems. He also has experience administering and assessing cognitive and intellectual functioning.

Daniel provides therapy for people of all ages with a particular focus on adults. He employs a holistic approach to therapy that incorporates the biopsychosocial model. Daniel believes in an individualised and client-centred approach, where therapeutic alliance and individualised goals are the main focus. Daniel’s approach to therapy implements and utilises skills from a number of therapeutic modalities that include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, Emotional Intelligence therapy and Psychodynamic therapy.

Daniel is an enthusiastic and empathetic man with a strong passion for psychology and mental health. He believes that physical and mental health are key to living and sustaining a happy and healthy life.
