Mark Raymond
Counsellor
Biography
Mark has been journeying with people throughout Australia and the UK for some 30 years as they navigate life challenges in his roles as an ordained Minister and military Chaplain.
He holds a Master of Counselling, and a Graduate Certificate in Emotion-Focused Therapy and lecturers in Counselling and Psychotherapy at differing Institutes in Sydney and is PACFA accredited.
His psychotherapeutic education is founded on the Person-Centred Therapy framework, and in collaboration with the specific needs and goals of a client, integrates aspects of Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment, Focusing and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Mark’s empathic approach provides a safe, caring, and non-judgemental environment. His hope is to enable people to experience healthy forms of emotional expression – important to well-being, relationships with others and long-lasting change.
