Our story is marked by significant milestones and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Our founders
Logic Lounge Psychology was founded with a vision to make a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of the Sydney community. Our journey began with a handful of dedicated professionals, passionate about making a difference.
Our founder, Sarah Jacob had wanted to be in the mental health industry from the young age of 8. This was insired by her father who was a psychiatric nurse. After seeing how people suffered later on in their life because they didn’t get the help they needed earlier, Sarah’s dream was ultimately to become a psychologist for people all backgrounds who are experiencing trauma and depression, no matter where they are in life.
Sarah, alongside her husband Rajiv, acquired Gordon Psychology in January 2015. With this being a significant milestone in Sarah’s career, it built the foundation of a dream to build an organisation where people of any background could seek a safe and peaceful environment.
A year later, in January 2016, our North Sydney office opened in Miller Street. This 2 room facility at the time (now 5 rooms) was a leap of faith and blossomed into one of our busiest clinics.
In July 2017, Rajiv and Sarah acquired Parramatta Psychology Clinic, based in Hunter Street at the time. The clinic moved into the George Street facility a year later. Our Pymble location opened at the same time.
In January 2020, Wilson Wong joined our business as a director alongside Sarah and Rajiv. Together, they opened our office in Hornsby. This clinic has also turned into one of our busiest throughout the business. The Covid-19 Pandemic was one of most stressful times that society has seen in decades. It was for this reason that we kept all of our offices open, following our committment to you.
Our Gladesville location opened in November 2021, followed by our acquisition of Drummoyne Counselling Centre in June 2022.
2023 has been a busy year for us in terms of growth and development. We opened two more locations: Auburn in April and Newtown in September.
We also founded our UPstart Provisional Psychologist Program in April, aimed at giving Provisional Psychologists a path from provisional registration to general registration, allowing them to gain experience and learn from experienced psychologists along the way.
We continue with the aim to become a premier provider of mental health services in Australia.
